  My partner and I were very much looking forward to trying Serrano's Cantina but unfortunately, we were left very disappointed with our experience. I tried to reserve a table for this evening, but my call went unanswered 8 times. We decided to head down there to see if a table might become available. When we arrived, we were surprised to see that the restaurant was not very busy. The greeting was rude and we felt like a burden. Our menus were slapped on a table and we were left for over 15 minutes; not offered a beverage or even acknowledged (despite after having tried to make eye contact). One would be more understanding if the restaurant was packed, but only 3-4 tables were occupied and several more were empty. In the end, we got up and left without even being noticed. I must say, the decor was nice but the service was not. We would like to try again some other time as we have heard how great the food is. Hopefully we are not disappointed next time.

  Great food, runs a little lean on staff but that's because their prices are reasonable. As long as you're happy to wait a little bit for your food you'll be happy. If you're expecting to be blown away by service go eat somewhere more expensive with shittier food.

  i have been told for years how good the mexican at Beenleigh was...which was a weird thing to hear anyway...finally tried it month ago for lunch.. OMG i ### you not , the worst mexican i have ever had! qld is not known for good mexican as it is so my expectations were low but this was rubbish. the presentation looked like something out of a microwave meal, tasted terrible too. it was lunch time though so maybe its better at night... but i wont be risking wasting another $75 it cost us.
